Almost a year ago we had our page hacked at 50k followers 🥺 - it’s taken this long to finally get even our original Instagram name back! (The page has been deleted finally by Instagram themselves after the hackers tried to sell it back to us numerous times for ridiculous amounts of $$$)🤬 
So just a heads up to keep tagging us in your stories and posts- we love seeing them all! We are back to the original @hitorqueperformance 🙌🏼

@jmant73 “NOVAKIL” has been in our hands over @jmant73 “NOVAKIL” has been in our hands over the last few months fixing the few niggles that start to rear there head on a 50year old car but also up against fault finding issues when the vehicle is into a hr drive on a std ecu and no logging makes it a challenge🥴. 
So the solution was to install a @haltechecu elite 2500 ecu matched up to his IC7 dash and we added a bunch of sensors for data collection but to also future proof the combo. The Haltech has live Wideband, fuel pressure, oil pressure, gearbox position sensor, flex sensor plus the usual air temp and water temp sensors. 
The issues? Pre fuel pump to the surge tank failing with temperature and also a thermo fan relay kicking out after a period of time caused lean conditions and would bring the car down to one thermo trying to keep it cool. We can now see both of these as we are going back through the data after a hour drive. This is where an aftermarket ecu really offers so much more over a std Commodore ecu. 
Giving Jase the option of 98oct or E85 without swapping tunes or draining the tank is a great feature of the Haltech and the flex sensor . For a basic style of traction control we have added a gear position sensor along with tail shaft speed and front wheel speed, giving us a traceable reference of the two.  From this data we can close the electronic throttle body or adjust timing on the fly until wheel speeds are back within our set tolerance, giving the vehicle the best chance of using the available grip the road can give. Obviously there are multiple ways of achieving different traction controls strategy’s, but for a street car this works great. 
Over the next few weeks we will drop a few videos explaining this in a lot more depth- discussing the Haltech ins and out and what features we run on our customers cars.

😎 The well know “OVH202” is no stranger to 😎 The well know “OVH202” is no stranger to a lot of daily street driving duties as well as entering every track event possible 🙂 ...... 
At the end of 2020 the engine came out for a birthday after needing a new set of lifters, so we felt there was no better time to upgrade a few other bits along the way. 🤟🏽
This 434ci LSX has now been upgraded to a @dartmachinery 8ccw crankshaft , New LS7 cylinder heads and a Sheeetal Inlet manifold. The boys also added in a @haltechecu elite 2500 with IC7 dash just to monitor the vitals on this car while @adrian10ess is out cruising the streets 😎 
Power was the easy task from here - making 1100plus rear wheel on E85 and 18psi and the added flex sensor means 700plus rear wheel on 98oct and 10psi !!! 
Massive shout out to our @steve.torana for the great engine combo.
@joelmuldoon for the wiring , fitting and startup.
And @dalboy83 for the setup and tuning 
We are now Powerplay ready with a few weeks spare now given the postponement until June 🤣
